EduQuest Season 2 2024: Building a Learning Ecosystem Through Collective Growth Continuing the Legacy
Building on last year’s success, EduQuest 2024 embraced a broader vision, aligning with the theme, “Building a Learning Ecosystem: Schools as Mutual Learning Communities.” This year’s journey focused not only on recognizing outstanding educators but also on creating a collaborative platform where teachers could engage, learn, and grow together.
The categories for 2024 reflected this evolution:
- Ehsas Awards: continue to honour educators who embody empathy and create meaningful connections with their students and communities.
- Innovate to Inspire: celebrated groundbreaking ideas and creative solutions for teaching, encouraging educators to redefine learning in innovative ways.
- Research to Rebuild: a new category, highlighted the significance of action research in driving positive change within schools, empowering teachers to become researchers and problem-solvers.
Action Research: Empowering Teachers as Change Agents
A major highlight of this year was the inclusion of Action Research, with dedicated webinars held between August and September 2024. Spearheaded by mentors Ms. Ayesha Firdous and Ms. Syeda Ameena, these webinars equipped educators with the tools to analyze challenges within their schools and develop actionable solutions. The initiative focused on building research skills, guiding participants through every stage—from literature review to report writing—ensuring they had the support needed to succeed.
Through consistent guidance, regular meetings, and unwavering mentorship, teachers not only developed innovative research projects but also cultivated a deeper sense of purpose and collaboration. The call for entries from October 14th to October 30th, 2024, saw overwhelming enthusiasm. The submissions, ranging from empathy-driven initiatives to research-based solutions, were a reflection of the transformative power educators hold within their communities.

The winners were announced on December 20, 2024, after a meticulous evaluation of their work. Each submission was assessed not only for its innovation and impact but also for its potential to inspire change within schools and communities.
